SCM Minimax ME 25 Fully Automatic Edge Bander with Glue Pot

This automatic edge bander with glue pot provides great flexibility and is suitable for melaminic edges, PVC and ABS up to 3 mm and wooden strips up to 5 mm. Machine for professional craftsmen and joineries.

ADVANTAGES:
Maximum versatility: gluing, end cutting with blade and trimming, together with the possibility to equip the machine with scraping and brushing units.

Designed for a perfect finish: The very best finishing of the panel edge is also guaranteed by the panel conveying track (exclusive solution), which prevents the panel having the feed affected by the typical pulses generated by the pinion of a traditional feed track and ensures a smooth and linear panel movement.

Always precise when cutting: Absolute precision offered by the unit, with a cutter and an independent asynchronous.

Simple and intuitive: Error-free machining is ensured by the control panel positioned on the front of the machine, that allows an easy selection of all the main functions, among them, the operating units switching on and off. The PLC guides the operator during maintenance, cleaning, diagnostic operations, etc.

Perfect radius on pvc/abs edges: High finishing quality of plastic material edges thanks to the radius knives that ensure the complete elimination of any marks left from the rimming unit tools, all equipped with fronte and vertical copiers and a user-friendly device for exclusion of the unit when it is not in use.

Top thick steel pressure beam with rubber coated wheels
Telescopic front support with rollers for the entire machine length
Hot melt glue with quick heat up system and internally teflon coated to allow an easy glue replacement
Temperature adjustment of the applied glue integrated in the PLC control
Automatic lowering of the glue pot temperature after a temporary non-use of the machine
Automatic edge loading system for rolled edges with shear device for 3mm max. thickness and 50mm max height
Machine can accept 5mm solid strips
End cutting unit: rotating blade for 90° end cutting of front and rear exceeding edge
The blade alignment with reference to the cutting point is carried out using a new copying device which ensures a constant and precise cutting under any working condition
Superposed Trimming Unit. Equipped with vertical copying pads for an accurate positioning of tools with reference to the cutting point. The unit is provided with 72mm diameter, combined cutters: the radius part of the cutter is used to trim 2mm radius edges and chamfered thin edges
The straight part of the cutter is used for the trimming of edges in wood up to 5mm. Changing from radius edge to edge in wood is done easily moving the cutters axially. The edge thickness is shown by 2 numeric readouts
Edge scraping unit: It assures an excellent vibration free finish thanks to its high rigidity structure. High working precision thanks to the horizontal and vertical copying pads (with chrome plated surfaces), which assure an accurate positioning of the knives in relation to the cutting point
Brushing Unit: With two independent motors for the cleaning and polishing of the edge.Tilted, vertically adjustable motors to optimize the cleaning/polishing action
