Width Sized to Your Panel Stock
Ordering the wrong width means extra trim time or an edge that doesn't fully cover the panel. We stock the full common range — 13/16" through 1-5/16", with narrower and wider options available — so you can match width to panel thickness without guessing.
As a general rule, edgebanding width should slightly exceed panel thickness to leave enough material for trimming flush. 3/4" panels commonly pair with 15/16" edgebanding; thicker panels move up to 1-1/8" or 1-1/4".
Explore the CollectionFor panels beyond standard 3/4" stock, we carry wider rolls up to 2-1/4", covering countertop edges and heavier casework builds.

What shops ask about choosing edgebanding width.
15/16" is the most common match for standard 3/4" melamine and particleboard, leaving enough overhang to trim flush.
Our catalog includes widths up to 2-1/4" for heavier panels and countertop edges.
Availability varies by finish and brand — check the specific decor code or reach out to our team to confirm which widths are in stock for a given colour.
A properly matched width minimizes trim waste and time; a roll that's too wide means more material to trim off, while one that's too narrow won't fully cover the edge.
A roll narrower than the panel thickness won't fully cover the edge, leaving exposed substrate after trimming — always size up slightly rather than down.
